Kargil Cotton Saree is one of the most popular sarees from Odisha Handloom in recent times that gathered adulation from all around the world. Simple and classy, these sarees come with huge phoda kumbha (temple) pattern on the border and a beautiful trademark Konark Chakra on the pallu. This saree was initially conceptualized by weavers of Odisha as a dedication to Kargil heroes at the time of Kargil War. Now the design is so popular that you will find these sarees being weaved by weavers in Pochampalli too.

The Kargil cotton sarees available on My Clothing Treasure are sourced from the original cluster of weavers in Odisha who have been practicing tie and dye art of ikkat since 12th century.

Wash care: 1st was dry clean recommended. Can be hand washed at home with mild detergent.  Do not wring or soak for more than 5 minutes.  Wash dark colours separately.
