My Clothing Treasure was born purely out of my love for the six yards.

In 2019, during a family wedding, I began searching for an authentic silk saree for myself. What I thought would be a simple purchase turned into a deep journey. I struggled to find sarees that felt elegant, refined and truly handwoven. Most options were either too flashy or too commercial.

I wanted something real. Something with character. Something I would proudly wear.

That search changed everything.

I began speaking directly with weavers. I stepped into their world — a world of looms, silks, patience and generations of skill. The more I saw, the more I wondered:

Why is this vast and beautiful collection, easily available with weavers, not easily available to us?

That question gave birth to My Clothing Treasure.

But along the way, I understood something deeper. These artisans carry forward centuries of knowledge. Yet they depend on consistent demand and fair value for their work. Without the right buyers, even the finest craft can slowly fade.

I decided to become that bridge.

Every saree you see here is personally handpicked or curated by me. The weaves, the colours, the textures — each piece is selected thoughtfully. I keep current sensibilities in mind, but my focus always remains on authenticity and quality.
